Zara Hovhannisyan becomes BDO’s Global General Counsel

I’m thrilled that Zara has accepted to take up the role of Global General Counsel, which is an important role within our Global Leadership Team.”

About Zara Hovhannisyan
Prior to becoming BDO’s Global Head of Legal in 2021, Zara Hovhannisyan was the Deputy Head of Legal and Privacy Officer since 2019. Zara has been with BDO’s Global Office since 2013, gradually building her career and in-depth expertise.
She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) in International Corporate & Economic Law, University of Kent. Zara is a member of the Belgian Institute of In-house Counsels and a certified privacy professional. She speaks English, Armenian, Russian, French and Portuguese which is another reason she is so passionate about BDO and its global outreach.
