Continuing Training of Auditors

In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine dated 6 July 2020 No. 400, the Procedure for Continuous Professional Training of Auditors was approved.

Continuous professional training of auditors means the participation of auditors in activities ensuring professional development, supporting at a high level and improving practical skills in audit and the acquiring new theoretical knowledge in the areas defined by part two of Article 19 of the Law of Ukraine On Audit of Financial Statements and Audit Activities.

The order states that the minimum volume and duration of continuous professional training for an auditor is 120 hours for three consecutive years on a cumulative basis, but not less than 20 hours per year. The differentiation of the types of continuous training of auditors should be ensured.

Auditors have the right to choose independently a provider of educational services.
