The meeting focused on the audit plan for Ukrhydroenergo’s financial statements for 2024, the nature and scope of the audit, and the timing of the planned audit services.
Audit planning is an integral component of our collaborative strategy for communication with the Supervisory Board representatives, which ensures effective two-way communication between the auditors of BDO in Ukraine and the Supervisory Board of Ukrhydroenergo throughout the audit process.
The auditors reported to the members of the Supervisory Board on the main issues related to the audit of the financial statements, which included the following: the applicable materiality level and the algorithm for its calculation, identified material risks and planned audit procedures to mitigate them, preliminary results of the assessment of the effectiveness of the Company’s internal control system, etc. Additionally, the auditors communicated to the Supervisory Board members that BDO LLC and the engagement team members involved in the audit are independent with respect to PJSC Ukrhydroenergo.

BDO in Ukraine works towards a common goal — to support the stability and development of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure in a difficult environment. We actively support businesses with professional audit and advisory services, helping them to recover and develop in the face of current challenges. Together we strengthen the foundations for future prosperity!
