Representatives from government bodies, scientific institutions, the business environment and public organizations gathered to discuss the most important aspects of energy efficiency and develop strategies aimed at improving the situation in this area. BDO representative Maksym Dovhal was among the participants, which testifies to the importance of the role of business in the development of energy efficiency and renewable energy in Ukraine.

During the construction forum "Energy-efficient restoration of Ukraine", important aspects of the development of energy efficiency in Ukraine, which are of strategic importance for achieving energy policy goals and climate obligations, were highlighted. The participants discussed measures to improve energy efficiency at the level of local self-government and the challenges faced by communities.

According to Oleksiy Sobolev, Minister of Economy of Ukraine, preliminary assumptions and simulations were demonstrated. Olena Bayda, coordinator for energy efficiency of the NPEC, presented the approach to the preparation of the NPEC and its key goals and policies. Oleksandr Dyachuk, a representative of the Institute of Economics and Forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, presented the framework approaches to scenario modeling of the Plan and key conclusions based on the modeling results. The next step will be to conduct an independent audit of heat and water supply enterprises with the aim of stimulating energy efficiency.

"Participation in the construction forum "Energy-efficient restoration of Ukraine" gave us the importance of realizing the complexity of modern challenges in the field of energy efficiency and the need for joint efforts to solve them. We are sure that only under the condition of partnership between various sectors of society, innovative solutions and adequate financing, we will be able to achieve successful results in the implementation of energy-efficient projects and contribute to the sustainable development of Ukraine."
