BDO announces financial results for 2024

December 2024, Brussels — BDO Global Network, one of the world’s leading audit, advisory and outsourcing companies, has announced that it has achieved combined global revenue of USD 15 billion (EUR 13.9 billion) for the financial year ended September 30, 2024.
 
This was achieved through a 7% increase in US dollars and a 5% increase in euros, showcasing the company’s resilience and ongoing success in the global market, even in challenging economic times.

2024 Key Achievements:
  • Global revenue: USD 15 billion (EUR 13.9 billion) – up 7%.
  • Growth in all regions: EMEA, North and South America, Asia Pacific.
  • Leadership in key markets: France (+22%), India (+26%), the Middle East.
  • Workforce expansion: more than 119 000 employees in 166 countries.

This achievement reinforced our networkʼs stable fifth position on the global stage.

2.    Workforce expansion:

In 2024, the number of BDO employees has increased by 3.4% to nearly 120 000 across 1800 offices globally.

3.    Transformation through innovation:

BDO is actively investing in digital technology and Artificial Intelligence to enhance the client experience:

  • Launch of a generative AI platform that empowers teams to use the latest technologies in their work.
  • Development of digital consulting services in data analytics, business technology consulting, cybersecurity, and technology modernization.
  • Collaboration with Microsoft, which led to BDO being awarded Microsoft Partner of the Year 2024.

BDO in Ukraine
Despite the working conditions during the war, in 2024 BDO in Ukraine strengthened its market position by expanding its range of services and attracting new clients. 

Key highlights 2024:
  • Financial year 2024 ended with a 19% increase in revenues compared to the previous year 2023.
  • Successfully passed the audit of the quality of audit services conducted by the Audit Public Oversight Body of Ukraine (APOB).
  • We are expanding our staff, which has increased by 14% compared to 2023, and offering internships for young professionals, with 27 students completing them this year. 
  • We are expanding our presence in Ukraine by opening a new office in Lviv. This is another space for new opportunities, development and productive cooperation and a new step to meet the needs of our employees and clients.
  • Another achievement of our company is that we have received ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certificate, a globally recognised standard that defines best practices for information security management. This achievement confirms our commitment to ensuring that our clients’ data is protected.
  • We extended our accreditation as AICPA&CIMA Training Quality Partner, a status granted under the employer accreditation programme that means the organisation complies with the recommended quality standards in training and development of professionals under the AICPA&CIMA programmes.
  • We confirmed ACCA accredited employer status on two levels at once: Trainee Development, Platinum (Platinum accredited employer status in support of ACCA students) and Professional Development (accredited employer status in support of ACCA members). We are committed to supporting the professional development of our employees by providing them with ACCA exam training, supporting them in achieving their career ambitions.
