BDO appoints Global Chief Strategy and Operations Officer
The fast pace of change, a complex business environment and a clear ambition to grow global business have increased the need to create a dedicated new role in the organisation. BDO’s new Global Chief Strategy and Operations Officer (CSOO) will drive alignment, consistency and execution of the Global BDO strategies.
Pat Kramer, CEO BDO Global, adds: “I’m thrilled that Trond-Morten has accepted to take up this important new role with our Global Leadership Team. The time is right to modernise our regional structure and improve its overall effectiveness. Reorganising our regions will provide a real opportunity to engage and manage the regional geographies in a different way. Trond-Morten will also ensure an even roll-out of our Global BDO strategies within all our firms worldwide, including the sustainability programme and a number of highly important international business areas.”

Until now, Trond-Morten Lindberg was BDO’s Regional CEO for the EMEA region (Europe, Middle-East and Africa), overseeing the growth and development strategy of BDO across three continents. He also lead BDO International’s Global Innovation stream and was the sponsor of the Sustainability programme, which includes BDO’s commitment to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
Before joining BDO’s Global Leadership Team in 2017, Trond-Morten was the Managing Partner and CEO of BDO in Norway for 8 years.
