BDO in Ukraine is independent auditor of National Selection for Eurovision-2023

On December 17, 2022, the whole Ukraine watched and voted for their favorites in the final of the National Selection for Eurovision-2023. According to the jury and audience votes, Ternopil duo TVORCHI won the first place and will represent Ukraine at the contest in Liverpool.

Another exciting novelty this year was voting for the Ukrainian candidate for Eurovision-2023 through the Diia app. Previously, Ukrainians used to vote via SMS or phone call. But in 2023, under the initiative of Public Broadcasting, this procedure was simplified to a few clicks in the application. This means that the team of the Ministry of Digital Transformation keeps building a powerful digital state even in the most difficult times of uncertainty.
 

Regarding the accuracy of the selection results for the 67th Eurovision Song Contest, BDO in Ukraine has verified the correctness of the audience and judges' votes, which are published on the website of Public Broadcasting. According to the rules of the contest, the total score of the winner was handed over to the host in an envelope by the representative of the independent auditor of the contest, BDO in Ukraine, Vladyslav Pugach. Vladyslav confirmed that the overall rating of the participant is determined based on the sum of the points received and in accordance with the rules of the National Selection.

We are proud that in 2022 we are part of this outstanding musical event for Europe. After all, nowadays, it is more important than ever to confirm the independence of our people's will in all spheres of life.
