The Talent Sharing Platform (TSP) represents a modern solution to the global challenge of attracting talent at a specific moment and on request.


Born amidst adversity, the TSP was designed and implemented by BDO in Ukraine as a part of its strategic plan to both strengthen the Company and provide the BDO Network with a convenient and innovative outsourcing solution for acquiring trained personnel who are familiar with BDO’s standards. This innovation is created to facilitate the seamless sharing of Ukrainian talent among the BDO Member Firms globally, transcending geographical and operational barriers.

Within this dynamic ecosystem, the TSP offers BDO Member Firms an access to a diverse pool of Ukrainian professionals skilled in the following key areas:

Key Features of the TSP

Additionally, Ukraine’s geographic location offers the advantage of maximum working hour overlap with many European countries, Asia, and the East Coast of the USA and Canada, facilitating timely and efficient collaboration.
  2. Cost-Effective Solutions: Offers a cost-effective alternative to traditional recruitment, reducing operational costs while optimizing talent allocation, and efficiently managing project demands and workload fluctuations.
  3. Legal Terms: As a Member firm of the BDO network, BDO in Ukraine is able to offer services under a standard service agreement or provide talents for remote secondment assignments.

How does the TSP work?


The Talent Sharing Platform (TSP) by BDO in Ukraine is an internal solution that offers a secure environment accessible to every employee within the BDO network. You can log in to the platform with your Microsoft 365 work account.

TSP serves as a platform for sourcing talent for the projects or even separate tasks you are currently running or planning. There are four ways to utilize the TSP:

On the main page you will see a list of BDO in Ukraine talents available for collaboration with other BDO Member Firms. They may be immediately available (marked green) or currently unavailable (marked red). You can clarify the availability of a specific talent if you think they are up to your requirements. By clicking the icon € near the “Book” button, you can get access to detailed information about the talent and download their CV. Use the “Filter” (top left) to locate talent with specific skills.

Another feature is “Add Request” (red button at the top right), which offers three different options:

2.1.    Request for a Project

You can book an entire team for a project implementation. This is an ideal option if you have a potential project but lack the specific professionals, or your Firm doesn’t provide the service required. Specify the service line, timing, estimated number of hours, and a brief project description. You can also attach files with more details.

2.2.    Request for a Task

This option is perfect if you need an executor for a specific part of your project. You can discuss the number of talents required for the optimal performance. You can also provide a brief task description, the time frame, and an estimated number of hours needed. You have the option to attach a detailed file, as well.

2.3.    Request for a Talent

This option is similar to the one above yet distinct due to the fact that you seek a particular talent to perform one or more tasks in a specified time. While similar to the talent request outlined in point 1, the key difference here is that you do not choose the talent individually. Instead, you describe your needs, and our resource manager will find the best candidate. This approach is particularly useful if you have not found the required talent directly, or if you prefer to receive a custom suggestion from our resource management team.

The choice of option depends on your needs.

After submitting a request, you will receive an email notification confirming that the TSP admin has received it. You can view all sent requests on the “Requests” page, including the details such as th

e date sent, status, type of request, execution period, and the account manager responsible for your request. You can initiate communication with them through MS Teams by clicking the three dots button next to their name.

Note that after submitting a request, you can modify its details by clicking on the row. However, it’s important to note that deleting an already sent request is not an option.

IMPORTANT!

Due to cybersecurity requirements and the cross-tenant authorization tool, the app should be granted with standard permissions from each BDO Member Firm’s tenant side. This ensures that only BDO Member Firms (whose domains are white-listed) can log in to the TSP. Please contact us via tsp@bdo.ua for further instructions for your IT Department.
